Description: Health service for parents and carers with children 0 - 5 yrs. The service monitors the child's growth and development over the early years and provides parenting advice and support. It cares for the emotional wellbeing of the mother and child (through psychosocial screening) The Child and Family Health Nurse works consultatively and collaboratively with families/carers and agencies on child and family health issues. Service is provided in the clinic and home setting.
