Description: NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) attends emergency situations in times of natural disasters. The local City of Sydney SES consists of trained professional volunteers who regularly come to the aid of our local community during storms and floods. The City of Sydney SES also supports the NSW Police Force , the NSW Rural Fire Service , the Fire and Rescue NSW and the Ambulance Service of NSW and local Council as requested. Age range 16 years and above.
Volunteering: There is a role for everyone in the SES. Response teams go out in the field providing temporary repairs during storms, preventing further damage from flood waters, assisting in land searches, etc.
