Description: Provides a range of services including youth mental health and an early psychosis program. Rehabilitation works to assist consumers to work towards achieving their personal goals. Programs are based on areas such as health and wellbeing, work and education, community access, social and leisure activities, routine and daily function and illness self-management. Youth Mental Health aims to provide early intervention to young people aged 14 to 24 years (and their carers) with a suspected emerging mental illness. This service complements existing acute care, community mental health and inpatient services for young people through the early identification, prevention and treatment of emerging mental disorders such as psychosis, depression and anxiety. The Early Psychosis Program provides services for young people aged between 15 and 25 years who are experiencing, or are at risk of, a first episode psychosis.
