Description: The City of Sydney Archives is the corporate memory of the City of Sydney. The Archives holds records relating the the geographical areas for which the City Council has been responsible and for the functions it has performed over the years since 1842. The City Archives also holds records of some other organisations such as the Sydney Festival. In person visits by appointment only.
