Description: DANA is the national peak body for independent disability advocacy agencies throughout Australia. It supports them in advocating for and with people with disabilities around individual, systemic, self, citizen, legal or family issues. The national secretariat maintains links with advocacy organisations and networks in each state or territory. Newsletter on website. Developed www.advokit.org.au to support advocacy for people with disabilities regarding the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
