Description: The Workshop Arts Centre (WAC) is an independent not-for-profit art centre and workshop facility established in 1961 to promote and foster appreciation in the creative and visual arts, including painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, photography, jewellery, textile art, music and performance art, poetry and writing, and children’s art. There is a wide range of professionally equipped studios, including three large painting and drawing studios, ceramics, printmaking, jewellery and sculpture studios. A wide range of term courses and holiday workshops are offered. The WAC is home to the Ewart gallery.
