Description: The Illawarra Zoological Society amalgamated with the Wildlife Preservation Society of Australia Ltd which trades as Australian Wildlife Society and is a national wildlife conservation body and carries out wildlife conservation and environmental education program on a national level. Membership inquiries welcome. Publishing a quarterly magazine for members (Australian Wildlife Magazine), and engaging in local conservation programs such as National Tree Day plantings, working bee projects on Towra Point Nature Reserve, Botany Bay and the Rockdale Wetland Corridor
