Description: Centrelink is funded by different govenment departments to provide a range of services to Australians and their families. Centrelink assists its customers to pursue participation and employment, to access training and education, to access income support and acts as a gateway to the job network and other services and programs. Within Centrelink there are specialists including social workers, psychologists, Personal advisers and Disability Officers who can assist customers with barriers to moving from welfare to work.
