Description: The GOC is a peak not-for-profit organisation established in 1898 to serve the spiritual, cultural, educational and welfare needs of the Greek community in NSW. The GOC manages a residential aged care facility, multicultural child care centres, Greek language programs for children, churches, Hellenic historical centre, welfare service, and organises key cultural events such as the Greek festival of Sydney. The welfare service provides information, referral and advocacy services, educational activities and group support. Activities are designed and implemented with focus in promoting social, emotional and physical healthy life styles and promoting positive life choices and change. The organisation also runs yoga classes and gentle exercise programs through qualified staff and volunteers and subsidised activities for older persons,their families and friends.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (Office Hours)

Fees: Free service. Groups may incur a small participation fee from $3.00.
