Description: Hurstville City Council has established a Community Garden in Hurstville on the corner of Wright and Cross Streets, Hurstville. In addition to the garden produce that can be harvested and the personal joy individual gardeners may experience, a community garden can provide a meeting place where people can come together for a common purpose, a place where education on horticultural and environmental subjects such as organic waste conversion, social interaction and community building through shared decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation.

Hours: Visitors welcome during daylight hours

Fees: $104/year for a Garden Plot
