Description: Disability, Learning and Support is located within the Learning and Wellbeing Directorate of the NSW Department of Education. It supports young children, and students with disability and additional learning and support needs in NSW schools. The Disability Standards for Education 2005 give children and students with the right to enrol in a school on the same basis as students without disability, include the right to reasonable adjustments that are necessary to ensure that they are able to enrol and access their learning. The Department provides a range of programs and services to meet the needs of students with disability and additional learning and support needs.
