Description: One of Sydney’s best cycle and walking tracks runs through Strathfield Municipality. The Bay to Bay Cycleway is a 23 kilometre track running from Settlers Park in Ryde to Botany Bay. Much of the track runs aside the historic Cooks River. The time required to walk the Strathfield section is only 90 minutes and is a great walk for dogs (leashed of course). The walkway/cycleway provides easy access to a variety of areas in the Municipality, notably the Cooks River in the south and Mason Park Wetlands and Homebush Bay to the north. The map shows the Strathfield section of the Bay to Bay Cycle and Walkway. Maps of Bay-to-Bay Cyclepath are available from Council's Customer Service Centre or can be downloaded from Council's website.
