Description: The LinkAGE program trains and supports community volunteers to provide companionship to elderly residents in participating Aged Care facilities in Sydney. Those who successfully complete the course and are accepted as LinkAGE volunteers, are assigned to a nearby aged care facility where they visit a resident for an hour each week. They provide friendship through conversation, reading, or other recreational activities.

Fees: The 2-day training course and program membership are free of charge.
