Description: A not-for-profit organisation, wholly owned by members. Activities: Members Library (fiction books in all genres, ebooks, audiobooks and emagazines); Tom Keneally Centre (devoted to Australian literature and history with regular author talks, readings and writing classes - open to everyone to visit and explore. SMSA members can also borrow from its collection); Free Talks and Events (talks, readings and screenings which are free and open to both members and the general public). Topics cover an eclectic mix of history, current affairs, art, literature and science); and, Venue Hire (large Theatre with AV and Hearing Loop, as well as flexible and affordable Meeting Rooms that can be configured according to hirer’s needs. The Tom Keneally Centre is also available for hire).
