Description: Local Government authority. Services include development and building planning and control, road and traffic management, streetscape programs, environmental conservation and development, waste removal, maintenance of parks and reserves, venue hire, Stanton library and community and cultural information, facilities and events. Council meetings are on Monday evenings. Business papers are available for viewing on Friday afternoon at Council's customer service centre and Stanton library. Volunteering: Volunteering opportunities exist in many of Council's programs, including committees, bushcare, plant propogation and wildlife watch, arts and recreation, Stanton library and Planet X Youth Centre.

Hours: 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Council meetings Mon evenings.
