Description: Gallery and museum in the former home of May Gibbs, one of Australia's most celebrated children's authors and illustrators. Historic 'Nutcote' was designed and built for children's illustrator and author May Gibbs. Exhibitions, events and children's parties.

Hours: Wed - Sun, 11am - 3pm

Fees: Adults: $10, Concessions: $8, Children: $4 (Age 5 and over), Family: $20 (2 adults and up to 2 children, aged 5-15 yrs)

Transport: Close to bus and ferry. Parking not available in Wallaringa Ave

Disability Access: Yes (Access can be difficult. Please call to discuss. Accessible toilets and stair-climber)

Facilities Note: Ideal venue for children's birthday parties, weddings and private functions. The historic house was built in 1925 by noted architect BJ Waterhouse. Nutcote has been faithfully restored and is listed on the Register of the National Estate.

Volunteering Note: Volunteer positions include tour guides, assisting the curator, maintaining the garden, shop and tea room assistance.
