Description: The Society holds regular monthly meetings with interesting guest speakers, regular visits to historical sites, and walks exploring regional history. It also financially supports History Prizes for local school students. The Society produces a monthly members' Bulletin, and a twice yearly Journal of historical articles relevant to the local area. The Society's archives and research files are available in the Heritage Centre (Stanton Library). Advice and support can be sourced from others with particular interests or expertise. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

Volunteering: New members are always welcome

Hours: Meets 2nd Thursday of each month (except December & January), currently at 6-7.30pm.

Fees: $15 annual membership fee

Disability facilities: Venue has level access, ramp, lifts, accessible toilets and parking.
