Description: RYDA, is a program provided by Road Safety Education Limited (RSE). RYDA is designed for 16-18 year old students who are approaching the time in their lives where they start to drive independently or are travelling as passengers of novice drivers. A key element of the program is the RYDA workshop which sees students attend six practical sessions where they devise strategies for safe road use. RSE is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers evidence-based road safety education programs which adhere to recognised “best practice” guidelines to reduce the incidence of youth road trauma in our communities. Rotary Clubs in Australia and New Zealand are a community partner of RSE. RYDA is run locally in St Ives, please see the website for more information.
