Description: Justice Connect is a community legal centre delivering access to justice through pro bono to people experiencing disadvantage and the community organisations that support them. Justice Connect has four programs in NSW, which target the unmet needs of particular client groups: Public Interest Law: Receives and assesses requests for pro bono legal assistance from Community lawyers on behalf of individuals experiencing disadvantage and refers them to pro bono solicitors and barristers through our Referral service. Not-for-Profit Law: Legal Information, advice and referrals for not-for-profit organisations. Self-Representation Service: Provides free legal assistance to unrepresented litigants in civil court proceedings in the Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court. Aboriginal Specific Services: Assists Aboriginal people and organisations with civil law matters. Health Justice Partnerships: works with healthcare providers to reach out to people, especially older people, who can not afford a lawyer.
