Description: Turning Point is a not-for-profit community- based welfare centre. We support men, woman and families who are experiencing challenging situations by providing welfare services to meet an immediate need and programs. Support available includes emergency food relief, homelessness support, mental health and domestic violence support, advocacy, document assistance, phone and computer access. Programs include basic computer training, carer support, men�s support group, a women�s support network and craft activities. A chaplaincy service supports people experiencing addiction, legal matters and in need of a mentor and a referral service connects community to other services for specific support. Tea, coffee and lunch provided Wednesday and Thursday. A hot breakfast is served on Fridays from 9.30am to 11.00am.
