Description: We advocate for and provide support to people who have experiences of complex trauma, and those who support them, personally and professionally. Provides professional short - term counselling support, information, referrals for ongoing support and support and guidance for engaging with the royal commission. The experienced and trauma- informed counsellors support adult survivors of childhood trauma and abuse, their partners, family and friends, health professionals and anyone in the workplace with people who have experienced childhood trauma and abuse.
Helpline and Redress Support Service is available 9am-5pm AEST 7 days a week, National Counselling and Referral Service - Disability is available Monday-Friday 9am-6pm AEST and 9am-5pm Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
