Description: Aims to create a social network of support, and increase community involvement for newly arrived immigrants from Iran and Persian speaking countries. This is done through cultural activities such as: Farsi classes; book club; creative writing workshops; art classes - drawing, oil painting, singing and mixed media; courses in computer skills; theatrical performances; Hornsby Shire awareness talks on Australia's taxation laws, how to prepare for job interviews and how to fill out the census forms for the new immigrants; dance groups; Library of more than 500 books is used by members as well as non members. We also offer online workshops and classes.

Volunteering: Yes. We need Farsi speaking volunteers for cultural activities.

Hours: Thursday 5pm-10pm

Disability facilities: The Centre is suitable for disabled persons

Languages: Farsi
