Description: The Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW administers the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. This act specifies that discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, caring responsibilities, age, marital status, homosexuality, and transgender in the provision of goods and services, accommodation, employment, Government Education and registered clubs is unlawful. The Board investigates and conciliates complaints. Inquiries may be made either by telephone or in person No appointment necessary. All matters are treated confidentially. The Board also provides community education to ensure that everyone acts in accordance with the anti-discrimination laws. It also provides legal advice and policy advice to Government.
