Description: The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) is a voluntary youth organisation sponsored by the Royal Australian Air Force. With an aviation and military focus, cadets have the opportunity to develop confidence, self-discipline, initiative, leadership, teamwork and communication skills that will be invaluable throughout their lives. 322 (City of Ryde) Squadron is the premier unit within the AAFC with 150 cadets making us the largest in the country. Our Squadron has a comprehensive training program offering a variety of activities such as bivouacs, air experience days, ceremonial parades, firearms safety training and social events each year. Cadets can also participate in various camps and courses during school holidays such as powered flying, gliding, general service training, promotion courses and abseiling.
