Description: Provides medical assessment, therapy and case management services for children and adolescents with a moderate to severe acquired brain injury and their families, from infancy to school leaving age. The Brain Injury Service supports and assists children and young people who have sustained an acquired brain injury, to make the best possible recovery and reach their full potential in all areas of development. The multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient services provide assistance with the variety of physical, cognitive, behavioural, emotional and communication problems which may result from a brain injury.
