Description: Provides general counselling to individuals, children and families. Priority is given to domestic violence, child abuse, low risk suicide, recent trauma and postnatal depression. Emphasis is on brief intervention. Services available at the Cranebrook, Penrith, St Marys, St Clair, Springwood and Katoomba Community Health Centres. Speech and OT based in Penrith. Building strong: is an aboriginal programme based in Cranebrook. Steps programme eye sight screening for preschool children.
