Description: Issues photograph licence-style cards for the Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS). MPS permits entitle the bearer to vehicular parking in places marked with the disability symbol. Other parking concessions are No charge in metered, coupon or ticket parking areas; more than 30 minutes limited parking extended to unlimited; 30-minute parking extended to 2 hours; less than 30 minutes extended to 30 minutes. There are three types of card Individual (Blue) - valid for 5 years; Temporary (Red) - valid for 6 months with provision for one renewal of 6 months; Organisation (Green) - valid for 5 years. The minimum application age is 3 years old. Applicants must have a Doctor complete the medical certificate on the application form. Applicants must present at a Roads and Maritime Service Registry or Service NSW Centre for the photograph unless an exemption is applied for through Roads and Waterways Services. Equivalent overseas Mobility Parking Scheme cards can be used in NSW.
