Description: The Victims Register and Restorative Justice Unit is a victim-centred unit within Corrective Services. The Unit provides services to victims after an offender has been sentenced. After sentencing, victims of crime are eligible to opt in to the CSNSW Victims Register to receive information and support to eligible victims of offenders that are serving a custodial sentence in NSW. Victims can also engage in Restorative Justice, which gives them the opportunity to communicate with the offender about the offence and its impact on the victim.
