Description: The 3-year pass entitles permanent residents of NSW (from age 4+) with significant vision impairment (and attendant if pass says ‘plus attendant’) to free travel on trains, buses, public ferries and light rail inside Opal area; free travel on local buses, reduced fare on NSW TrainLink services. A free travel Opal card opens un-staffed gates for train and ferry. Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs permitted on trains for vision or hearing impaired persons only; others must apply for permit. Application form on website.
