Description: Assists socially and economically disadvantaged people understand and protect their legal rights. Services include free legal information, advice and minor assistance in all areas of law, grants of legal aid. Duty Solicitor Service at local courts, alternative dispute resolution, domestic violence court assistance program and community legal education programs. Also provides representation for criminal matters to be heard at Blacktown Local Court, Family Law court matters, care and protection matters at the Children's Court and for a range of Civil Law matters.
