Description: The collection houses a range of specimens, mostly from Australia. Some of the items on display include skulls, skeletons, taxidermy mounts, corals, shells, antique microscopes and trays of colourful insects – as well as Minmi, the Centre’s resident ankylosaur. A large amount of material is also stored off-display, for teaching, research and media purposes. Contact the curator to: schedule a tour or activity (Mondays and Thursdays), learn more about the treasures on- and off-display, or to book the venue as a meeting room. Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
